Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the accounting, tax, and financial functions.
  2. Manage all aspects of the company’s financial accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, petty cash fund, full set accounts, and monthly management accounts.
  3. Plan, prepare, execute, and monitor budget and forecast, variance analysis, and cash flow projection
  4. Manage all taxation and audit matters.
  5. Ensure all accounting functions comply with the applicable governing standards, regulations, reporting requirements, and policy.
  6. Analyse financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and efficiency.
  7. Liaise with internal and external parties such as bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and government agencies on treasury, statutory, and compliance matters.
  8. Process payroll and submit monthly contributions to relevant government agencies accurately and timely.
  9. Maintain proper records and organization of the filing system.
  10. Undertake ad-hoc functions, assignments, and related duties or tasks as assigned by the Management.

Qualifications

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Candidate must have professional qualifications such as MIA / ACCA / CPA
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Familiarity with the accounting standards and tax guidelines including e-invoice
  • Preferably familiar with SQL accounting software
  • Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a prerequisite
  • Flexibility, ability to multi-task, and ability to work independently
  • Organization, consistency, and accuracy
  • Being able to start work immediately or on short notice is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

  1. Being involved in all aspects of new fund onboarding including coordination of opening of new bank/broker accounts, dealing with legal adviser, understanding legal documents, and supervising data migration from previous administrator (for take on funds only).
  2. The main contact for the fund stakeholders such as administrators, auditors, legal counsel, authority, brokers, and shareholders.
  3. Review the Nav calculation prepared by fund accountant to ensure accuracy of the Nav.
  4. Reading/understanding fund docs such as operating memorandum, subscription agreement, memorandum of association, administration agreement, etc.
  5. Review financial statements for financial year end.
  6. Ensure the funds are adhered to regulatory compliance and requirements.
  7. Participate in strategic planning and review to continuously improve processes and the team’s performance.
  8. Assist in ad-hoc assignments and duties as required.

Managerial tasks

  1. Experience in managing operational delivery and staff planning.
  2. Coordinate staff assignments to achieve optimal effectiveness through assessment of business needs and staff skillsets and development needs.
  3. Manage a team of professionals to accomplish company and personal goals.
  4. Conduct personnel duties for team (performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Business, or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in fund operations/administration.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Demonstrated SME knowledge in related area.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English. Able to speak Mandarin would be a plus.
  • Experience with Paxus would be an advantage.

Other tasks

  1. Preparing procedures of fund administration/operation process and ensure to review it on regular basis.
  2. Provide feedback on the performance of the teams to allow manager to conduct assessment.
  3. Organize the working day for all the accountants to ensure sufficient resources are available.
  4. Communicate process changes and issues encountered as and when it happens. Come out with action plan if needed to avoid similar incidents occurring again.
  5. Conduct 1st level interview for Associates along with manager.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Business, or other related disciplines.
  2. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in fund operations/administration.
  3. Demonstrated SME knowledge in related area.

  2. Preparing Nav calculations for high complexity fund.
  3. Review accounting package prepared by junior fund accountant.
  4. Preparing financial statement for financial year end.
  5. Assist manager in new fund onboarding.
  6. Assist manager to perform workload planning during staff’s absence like leaves, sickness, and other issues.
  7. Assist manager to manage daily operations such as disseminating daily work flows to other team members.
  8. Provide training or job guidance to newcomers (junior).
  9. Monitor the open items (pending settlement) in the funds on timely manner.
  10. Ensure to follow procedures, policies, and control consistently.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Business, or other related disciplines.
  2. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in fund operations/administration.
  3. Good understanding of performance fee equalisation process.
  4. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is particularly asset.
  5. Fluency in both spoken and written English. Able to speak Mandarin would be a plus.
  6. Experience with Paxus would be an advantage.

  2. Reconciling positions and cash against brokers and bank statement.
  3. Prepare fee accrual schedule in excel and compare the calculation with system (ex: management fee, performance fee, administrative fee, etc).
  4. Book investor transactions based on sub doc information.
  5. Ensure to follow procedures consistently in performing daily work.
  6. Follow up the status of open items (unsettled amount) in the funds on regular basis.
  7. Work closely with senior during financial year end in preparing the financial statements.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Business, or other related disciplines.
  2. Knowledge on different financial products and asset classes
  3. Flexibility and ability to multi-task.
  4. A good team player and able to work independently.
